On 9.9.08 (just a few days ago) we celebrated our first wedding anniversary. I awoke to a framed photo of us on our honeymoon in Switzerland and an extra print of a special cow we encountered on one of our hiking trips on the Rigi.
We spent the day in the city with Alpha and Zion fumbling successfully through the transit system and eventually ending up at a great SF restaurant. A few cocktails and yummy dishes later we found our way back to our home where we later had a cake-cutting ceremony reminiscent of our special evening on our amazing wedding day.
Everyday with my love is a reminder of how blessed I am. It was a rough path to such happiness, but it has made the arrival abundantly sweeter as I know what true joy and love really is.
